The two guest houses are well separated to ensure privacy and tranquility. Our log cabin lodging is in a secluded country setting on 5 1/2 wooded acres north of Platteville WI , about 30 minutes from Ealge Ridge Galena Territory, Galena IL, and Dubuque IA. "Cabin Life" Guest House, a round-log pine handcrafted cabin, features a woodburning fireplace, whirlpool for 2, and a queen size cedar log bed in the same room. This setting invites a romantic mood. The kitchenette has a refrigerator microwave and a dining area. Listen to Mother Nature from your spacious front porch or the private brick patio. The "breakfast fairy" delivers fresh baked goodies to your door each morning. Many comforts and amenities included to make this a perfect escape from everyday distractions and worries.

"Back Again" Guest House is an extraordinarily unique 1800's log building with a stone addition. Ideal for an extended special getaway or a romantic get-together. Will also accomodate up to 4 adults whether 2 couples vacationing together or a girl's outing. This 1100 square foot house has a fully equipped kitchen, rock sun room with 2 person whirlpool and waterfall feature, double sided gas fireplace, many relaxing sitting areas, 1 1/2 baths, and 2 bedrooms. Beautifully decorated and comfortable rooms. Private cobblestone patio with gas grill. The attention to detail in the cabin and its amenities makes this a truly delightful cabin.
